SharkStriker launches a data center in South Africa

Walnut Creek CA 94956, August 2023: SharkStriker, a global cybersecurity vendor known for empowering MSPs worldwide through their holistic cybersecurity services, has launched its AWS-based data center in South Africa.

It is one of the many efforts from SharkStriker to increase its global presence and seamlessly cater to its customers. Through this, they can empower them with speedy managed security services and achievement of subject regulatory compliances.

It has unlocked a whole new range of opportunities. It has enabled its customers in South Africa to take full advantage of holistic cybersecurity services to mitigate the security risks part of the highly volatile threat landscape.

This data center will enable SharkStriker to assist its customers in easily keeping up with the varied personal information protection guidelines stated in the Protection of Personal Information Act (PoPIA).  

They will enable them to easily store, manage and access the SharkStriker’s security platform seamlessly from their local data center.

This data center will enable them to serve two of their purposes:

  • One of the main purposes of the datacenter is to smoothen all the cybersecurity operations with localized availability of data. 
  • Another purpose of this is the seamless enablement of local customers in South Africa with PoPIA compliance guidelines through local processing and management of data.

This data center will provide data sovereignty for SharkStriker’s customer organizations subjected to strict information and data protection guidelines.

It will ease them to render all their managed services through their open architecture security platform. They will render managed services like MDR-as-a-service, SIEM-as-a-service, SOC-as-a-service, VAPT, and others easily with a dedicated data center.
